3 of a Kind
Event #2 of our Fall 2025 Season saw 68 players come out (9 first time players) and lay down their hard earned $65 to take a shot at some poker glory. 15 of these players utilized their single re-buy, leaving us with a total of 83 entries and the top 10 finishers taking home their share of $4,150.
Eric Por. (Athens, PA) made the drive in worthwhile in his first tournament with us, finishing in 10th place. While he missed the official final table, he left with $125 for his efforts. Mike Mar. (Watkins Glen, NY) came back strong after a long summer away from the felt. Mike took down 9th place for $145. Lona Whet. (Ithaca, NY) put together a massive chip stack but fell short of the money in Event #1 of our Fall 2025 Season. She came back with an even more impressive performance in Event #2, finishing in 8th place and picking up $170 while establishing herself as a player to pay attention to this season.
Frank Sant. (Binghamton, NY) posted his second cash in his 607poker.com career, finishing in 7th place for $195. Final table regular Matt Kell. (Little Meadows, PA) came back from a long absence but didn’t miss a beat, posting a 6th place finish and a payday of $230.
Matt Arms. (Binghamton, NY) put together his second final table cash in his second event at 607poker.com. Matt finished in 5th place, taking home $270 and putting himself near the top of the points leaderboard early in the Fall 2025 Season. Brian Kell. (Endicott, NY) was our 4th place finisher. Brian’s slow and steady approach got him a $375 payout while moving him up the Season Points Leaderboard.
Once we got to our final 3 players, a chop was agreed upon. The shortest stack, regular final tablist Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY) takes home $880 and third place points for the Season Points Leaderboard, vaulting into the top 10. Mike Krom Jr. (Binghamton, NY) established himself as the man to beat early this season. In two events, Mike has posted two top 5 finishes. He picked up $880 for this week’s finish and sits comfortably at the top of the Season Points Leaderboard a quarter of the way through our season. Dave Ir. (Windsor, NY) took down first place points in this event (along with $880) for finishing as the chip leader.
With 6 events left in this season, including three events with a $95 buy-in and extra points available, the Season Points Championship is still wide open. Players that haven’t made it to either of the first two events this season only need one big finish to get high on the Leaderboard. Also, 40 players have played in both of the first two events, putting themselves halfway to qualifying for the Season Championship Tournament. With $990 already in the pot to be added to this prize pool, you want to make sure you play in four of our regular season events so you can have a shot at this bonus money! Get down to the shop next Saturday at 4 PM for our $95 buy-in Event #3 for your chance to fill your pockets.
