Par For the Course

Event #6 of the Fall 2025 Season was a $95 buy-in tournament with 58 players showing up and showing out. 11 rebuys brought us to 69 total entries and the top 9 players taking home some extra cash.

Action was fast and we made it to the final table in record time. 607poker.com faithful Charlie Lew. (Binghamton, NY) put up his first league cash with a 9th place finish, taking home $145 for his efforts. Final table regular Rooster Dav. (Hancock, NY) put up his third cash in five events this season. Rooster picked up $170 for an 8th place finish and maintained his position in 4th place on the Season Points Leaderboard.

Bob Sil. (Binghamton, NY) was our 7th place finisher when he ran his pocket queens into pocket kings. This is Bob’s third cash of the season got him $195 and moved him into the top 20 on the Season Points Leaderboard. Kevin Sha. (Jersey Shore, PA) recorded an impressive debut performance, finishing 6th and walking away with $265. Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) torched a huge chip stack to finish in 5th place, picking up $340 and enough points to move him into 4th place on the Season Points Leaderboard.

Tournament regular Scott Tho. (Conklin, NY) recorded his second cash in the last three events, recording a 4th place finish worth $460. Scott is now in the top 20 on the Season Points Leaderboard. Whitey (Kirkwood, NY) broke a recent cold streak with a 3rd place finish for his first cash of the season. Whitey took $700 for his 3rd place finish and is within striking distance on the Season Points Leaderboard.

This left us with Nick Bab. (Cortland, NY) and Matt Mai. (Endwell, NY) battling for the championship. They decided at the start that they wanted to play this out and agreed not to chop. The heads up battle was the longest in the history of 607poker.com with the two men playing for over an hour. The battle was back and forth but Nick eventually bowed out in second place. He picked up $1,065 for his second place finish, leaving Matt with the victory and $1,490 for his first place finish.

With two games to go in our Fall 2025 Season, we are projected to pay out the top 11 finishers on the Season Points Leaderboard. Currently 11th place has 765 points. With the winner of each event averaging over 625, everyone has a chance to make the money. Don’t miss Event #7, a $65 buy-in tournament on November 1st at 4 PM!!!
