Mr. Pink Prevails!!
Heading into our Fall 2025 Season Championship Tournament, we had 63 qualifiers and $4,350 added to the prize pool. 51 of the qualifiers came out and plunked down $120 each in a single buy-in freezeout. With 20% of the field being paid out in this tournament, the top 11 finishers would be receiving their share of a $10,470 prize pool.
Chips were flying early and often, stacks were shrinking and increasing at a furious pace and players were making their way to the door throughout the afternoon. With 12 players remaining, the players agreed to peel $100 off of the first place prize and give the bubble finisher $100. Sharon Van. (Binghamton, NY) was the unlucky recipient of this payout when her short stack couldn’t survive an all in.
Dolly Ril. (Binghamton, NY) posted her second straight cash at 607poker.com, exiting in 11th place for $260. Jim All.’s (Windsor, NY) hot streak cooled off a little when his KJ suited couldn’t overcome QQ. Jim’s 10th place finish earned him $315.
There was a seat redraw for the final table and shortly after the redraw, Dennis Da. (Albany, NY) bowed out in 9th place. Dennis wrapped up an impressive fall performance (4 cashes in the regular season) with a $370 payout. Justin Ho. (Bainbridge, NY) made the most of missing an early Thanksgiving dinner with family, turning in an 8th place finish and winning $425.
Josaiah Fra. (Binghamton, NY) saved his best performance of the Fall 2025 Season for the biggest event of the season. Josaiah posted his first cash at 607poker.com, picking up $480. Mike Mar. (Watkins Glen) impressive Fall 2025 Season came to an end when his short stack shove with KT couldn’t fade J5 when a J spiked the river, sending Mike home in 6th place with $575.
On the next hand, Rooster Dav. (Hancock, NY) exited in 4th place, picking up $680 for his deep run. With his 5th cash of the Fall 2025 Season, Rooster established himself as a force to be reckoned with heading toward the Winter 2026 Season. Action continued at a furious pace with Carrie Hea. (Watson Town, PA) being knocked out on the following hand. Carrie capped off a great Fall 2025 run with her 4th cash of the season and a $940 payout. Steve Ril. (Binghamton, NY) went into three handed play as the short stack and couldn’t find a double up, exiting in 3rd place. After a series of summer cashes, Steve had a rough Fall 2025 Season but finished it in style, pocketing $1,360 for his 3rd place finish. With two cashes in the Season Championship Event, the mother-son Riley duo are bound to have a Happy Thanksgiving.
After eliminating the previous five players, heads up play between Matt Kel. (Vestal, NY0 and Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) began with Matt having a slight chip lead. The two clashed every hand with every hand being raised and most of them being reraised preflop. When they finally got to see a flop of 854, all of the chips ended up in the flop. Matt showed A6 for an over card and a gut shot and Jimmy tabled 86s for top pair and a gut shot. The board ran out clean for Jimmy, leaving Matt with less than 100,000 tournament chips. Matt was all in on the next hand and Jimmy’s run good continued, eliminating Matt in 2nd place. Matt took home $2,095 for a deep run when it mattered most and Jimmy picked up $2,870 for his second victory of the Fall 2025 Season.
Thank you to all of the players that participated in our Fall 2025 Season. This was our biggest and best season yet but we head into 2026 with an even bigger turnout expected. Be sure to come get your share of those prize pools!!
