I’ve Seen This Guy Before!
Tuesday night was a mixed game tournament. For $20, players received 25,000 tournament chips and took their chances at Texas Hold Em, Pot Limit Omaha & No Limit Pineapple. 33 brave players tested the waters and nobody was afraid to get their chips in the pot. 39 rebuys, we were set to pay our top 9 finishers.
With 10 players left, hand for hand play began. It took an entire level to lose a player but short-stacked Chad P. (McGraw, NY) found himself with a lot of work to do when he pushed QJs, only to have two callers, one with QQ & one with KK. The kings held and Chad was our bubble finisher. After a redraw for the final table, play resumed and Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) exited in 9th place, picking up $40 for his finish and almost breaking even on the night. He was followed to the rail by Kevin Dum. (West Windsor, NY). Kevin’s 8th place finish earned him a $60 payday. Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) couldn’t find much run good after her triple up with KK and exited in 7th place, collecting $80.
Final table regular Jim All. (Windsor, NY) was our next player heading to the rail, finishing in 6th place and pocketing $100. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) came into the final table as the short stack and managed to spin it up for a while before finishing in 5th place. Pat collected $120 for his 5th place finish. Mike Mar. (Watkins Glen, NY) built a big stack early and coasted to the final table, finishing in 4th place and taking home $155. Dan Kan. (Maine, NY) posted his second consecutive Tuesday Night cash, following up last week’s chop in first place with a 3rd place finish this week. Dan pocketed $230 for his efforts.
This left us with two fairly deep stacked opponents as we moved to heads up play. The players decided to play it out and chips were traded for over a level of play. Lucas Har. (Owego, NY) bowed out in 2nd place, receiving $345 for his finish. This was Lucas’ second straight cash (he took 5th place on Saturday). He will look to keep improving this Friday. David Timm. (Waverly, PA) was left with all of the chips, taking down our Tuesday Mixed Game Tournament for a $470 payout. David overcame a rough start to the night and posted his second outright win in the last three Tuesday Night events.
Congrats to all that cashed and don’t miss our Friday Night Tournament!!!
