Three of a Kind!!
On Saturday Night we hosted Event #3 of our Winter 2026 Season. This was our first $95 buy-in event of the season, providing a bigger prize pool and more points to be claimed! 65 players came out to take their shot with 25 of them needing to fire a second bullet, resulting in a total of 90 entries and a prize pool of $6,300.
With twelve players remaining, we started hand for hand play. Chris Pas. (Ithaca, NY) exited in 12th place bursting the money bubble. After cashing in his first tournament at 607poker.com, Chris just missed the money in his second tournament. We returned to normal play and 607poker.com regular Dan Ka. (Maine, NY) bowed out in 11th place. Dan picked up $160 for his 11th place finish. Following Dan to the rail was Lucas Har. (Owego, NY), finishing in 10th place and cashing in for $190. If that name looks familiar, it should. This is Lucas’ fourth cash in the last five events at 607poker.com and his second cash in two Winter 2026 Events.
Players drew new seats for the final table and Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY) was the first final tablist eliminated. Rob pocketed $225 for his 9th place finish. This was Rob’s second cash in the Winter 2026 Season, propelling him into 3rd place on the Season Points Leaderboard. Perennial final tablist Jim All. (Windsor, NY) followed Rob to the payout desk, collecting $265 for an 8th place finish. Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) couldn’t hold on to his short stack any longer, taking down a 7th place finish for $310.
Tony Dec. (Afton, NY) came into the final table as one of two chip leaders. He went into a massive three way all-in pot with QQ against JJ and AK, only to see an ace hit the turn and decimate his stack. Tony’s 6th place finish earned him $360 in only his second event at 607poker.com. Anton Kal. (Westchester, NY) posted his second cash of the month, being eliminated in 5th place and grabbing a $415 payout. After an extended amount of 4 handed play, Russ Diz. (Pine City, NY) was our 4th place finisher, collecting $570 for his efforts.
Play continued three handed with chips moving back and forth until the players decided on an even, three way chop. All players had comparable stacks and received $1,270 each for their finish. Cards were dealt out in an all-in scenario to determine the exact finish of the final three players for the allocation of points. Christian Pen. (Philadelphia, PA) was our official 3rd place finisher. This is Christian’s top finish after an extended string of final table appearances. Scott Tho. (Conklin, NY) claimed 2nd place in this tournament and 2nd overall on the Season Points Leaderboard. Daric Dio. (Endicott, NY) remained as our official 1st place finisher, vaulting to the top of the Season Points Leaderboard and making himself the man to beat this season.
Stop down on Saturday February 7th and take your shot at dethroning Daric and claiming the top spot on the Season Points Leaderboard. With over $1,700 already in the prize pool for the Season Points Leaders and five events left to go this season, we make it worth the drive!
