The Wonder Twins

On Sunday we ran a $200 buy-in No Limit Texas Hold Em tournament with a $50 bounty on every player. We had 25 players come out for this event, ready to gamble, firing a dozen rebuys. This left us with a prize pool of $5,350 to be paid out to our top 5 finishers.

With 6 players remaining, an agreement was made to take $100 off of the first prize payout and $100 out of the second prize payout to pay the looming bubble boy. Matt Kel. (Little Meadows, PA) was the bubble boy turned money collector, picking up the $200 for his 6th place finish to go along with one bounty. Butch Col. (Binghamton, NY) posted his first cash in a 607poker.com event when his QQ couldn’t fade an ace. Butch picked up three bounties on his way to a $375 payout for his 5th place finish. Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) came into the final table as one of the big stacks but bowed out in 4th place, earning $590. Jimmy collected three bounties on the way to his 4th place exit.

Joe Nat. (Maine, NY) continued a recent hot streak with a 3rd place finish worth $965. Joe knocked out two players along the way to add $100 in bounties to his profitable afternoon. This left DB (Binghamton, NY) squared up against the red-hot Mark Gra. (Vestal, NY). The two players agreed to an even chop, pocketing $1,620 each for the chop. The players also got to keep their bounties, giving Mark an extra $200 for the four bounties collected and DB an extra $250 as the biggest bounty collector of the day.
