Bringing the Thunder on Thursday!!

After an extended break on Thursdays, we were back at it this week with our $30 buy-in tournament. After 29 players showed up and fired an additional 24 rebuys and a slew of add-ons, we had a $1,900 prize pool set to be paid out to our top 6 finishers.

The final 7 players were fiercely dug in, looking for one elimination so they could get a return on the night’s investment but Scott Tho. (Conklin, NY) couldn’t capitalize on a rare weekday outing, finishing as our bubble boy. Sharon Van. (Binghamton, NY) was the first elimination that got to stop at the payout desk, exiting in 6th place and taking home $100. Jerry Joh. (Scranton, PA) followed Sharon to the rail, bowing out in 5th place and picking up $135. Brady Bla. (BCC) hung on for a 4th place finish, collecting $195 for his efforts.

Mark Gra. (Vestal, NY) continued a recent string of final tables, being eliminated in 3rd place for a $305 payout. Heads up play began but Wayne Win. (Johnson City, NY) fell just short of his goal, finishing in 2nd place and collecting $495. This was Wayne’s second cash of the week. Bootz Inm. (Binghamton, NY) was left with all of the chips and the lion’s share of the prize pool, pocketing $700 for her 1st place finish. This was Bootz’ second top finish in the last two weeks. Congrats Bootz!!!
