Two For The Money!!!

Our first ever Holiday Hold Em tournament drew a crowd of 46 players and fast and furious action resulted in 17 rebuys. When the dust settled Dennis Da. (Albany, NY) and Justin Pi. (Greene, NY) chopped up the top two spots, taking home big holiday paydays. This is Justin’s second win in nine games, becoming our first two time winner. Both players also picked up several mystery bounties along the way but weren’t able to snag any of the top prizes.

Jackson Wh. (Madison, WI) took third place, pocketing over $1,000 and a handful of bounty envelopes just outlasting Tim Mo. who finished in fourth while pulling his fair share of mystery bounty envelopes as well. Jimmy Fa. (Binghamton, NY) finished in fifth place for a $550 payout and three bounties. Haris Ha. (Philadelphia, PA) was the sixth place finisher but the biggest mystery bounty winner, pulling the $500 envelope and the $200 envelope, making up the majority of his $800+ in bounties. Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) was the first player eliminated in the money, taking down seventh place and a couple of bounties of his own.

Newcomer Matt Sh. claimed the largest number of bounties, taking out 9 players and pulling over $400 in bounties with a final table finish.
