Action Packed Tuesday!!!

A slight uptick in the weather brought players from near and far to play in our weekly Tuesday Night No Limit Texas Hold Em Tournament. Our biggest Tuesday night crowd to date (68 players) came out ready to mix it up with 69 rebuys being needed to get us to the break. After the add-on and the first break, we had 58 players vying for their share of a $3,040 prize pool.

Hand for hand play began when we got down to 15 players at our final two tables and Jade Wan. (Deposit, NY) had the misfortune to claim the bubble boy title. Gayle Lov. (Binghamton, NY) made a successful return to 607poker.com, finishing in 14th place and collecting $65. Kevin Dum. (West Windsor, NY) claimed the 13th spot for a $65 payday. Ed Lov. (Binghamton, NY) held on a little longer than his wife to claim the 12th place spot and a prize of $80. Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) found her fourth Tuesday night cash in the last five weeks, bowing out in 11th place and taking home $80. Newcomer Jason Stu. (Binghamton, NY) showed out in his first event at 607poker.com, just missing the final table with a 10th place finish for $80.

The remaining 9 players had a redraw for final table seating with Yao Sh. (NYC) being the first casualty of the final table, picking up $95 for his 9th place finish. Matt Geo. (Cortland, NY) followed Yao to the rail, collecting $110 for his 8th place finish. Nick Bab. (Cortland, NY) worked an incredibly short stack for most of the night, hanging on for a 7th place finish that earned him $125. Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) cashed in for $155 for his 6th place finish.

Colin Mor. (Cortland, NY) got all of his chips in with JJ against his opponent’s 99 but couldn’t fade a 9 on the river to exit in 5th place. Colin pocketed $200 for his efforts. Jack Sym. (Windsor, NY) had a roller coaster of a day that ended with a 4th place finish and a $260 payday. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) finished his evening in 3rd place (Pat’s personal best finish in a 607poker.com event) collecting $380.

Heads up play began with William Li. (Saratoga Springs, NY) taking a significant chip lead against Roberto Vaz. (Dupont, PA). Roberto battled hard and benefitted from an A6 overcoming William’s AT in a critical hand before taking out William. William collected $565 for his 2nd place finish in his first tournament at 607poker.com. Roberto’s impressive victory earned him a $780 payout in his first outright win at a 607poker.com event.

We will be lacing em up to do this again next Tuesday, why don’t you stop down and see if you can be the next Roberto???
