Biggest Bounty Collectors

The third installment of our Big, Bigger, Biggest Bounty Series was a $100 buy-in tournament with $30 going to a bounty on each player. 50 players showed up. 19 took a rebuy. $4,140 was getting paid to our top 9 finishers and over $2,000 in bounties would be paid out.

Two tables remained, needing only one player to exit to send us to a final table and guarantee each final table player a return on their investment. Justin She. had the displeasure of leaving as the bubble boy, bowing out in 10th place.

The remaining players had a redraw for final table seating and early final table play gave no regard for ICM. Dani Brk. (Croatia) continued his recent hot streak, finishing in 9th place for a $105 payout to go with the single bounty he collected. Franklin Sag. (Binghamton, NY) made a successful return to 607poker.com, following Dani to the payout window in 8th place and collecting $145 to go with his three bounties.

Joy Ver. (Ithaca, NY) made the most of her second bullet, posting a 7th place finish worth $185. Unfortunately she was not able to collect any bounties on this journey. Joe Nat. (Maine, NY) worked his way to a 6th place finish, picking up $225 to go with his two bounties. Jay Hea. (Binghamton, NY), fresh off a top three finish on Tuesday, headed to the rail in 5th place on Saturday. Jay took home $290 to go with his five bounties.

With four players remaining, chips were traded for a while before Gus Van. (Binghamton, NY) couldn’t get his ace high to hold up and he walked away in 4th place with a $395 payout to go along with the seven bounties he stacked up. Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) logged his second straight final table in our Bounty Series with a 3rd place finish worth $600. Paycheck also pocketed five bounties along the way.

This left Horacio Vic. and Frank San. in a heads up battle. With Horacio holding a decent chip lead, a deal was made. Frank took $995 for his efforts plus $210 in bounties (7 collected). Horacio picked up $1,200 for his end of the chop to go along with $210 in bounties (7).
