Man on Fire
Event #3 of our Fall 2025 Season was our first $95 buy-in of the season, bringing 67 players out to drag some pots, run some bluffs, earn some points and hopefully take home some extra cash. 16 of these players fired a second bullet in their pursuit of greatness, giving us 83 total entries and setting up the top 10 finishers to make the money. After three events, we have $1,820 in the prize pool for the Season Points Leaderboard and $1,820 of money that will be added to the Championship Tournament. With five games remaining this season, we are on pace to end up with over $4,400 in each of these payouts. If you haven’t been down to play yet this season, it isn’t too late to earn a portion of both of these massive payouts!!
When we got to 11 players remaining, there was discussion to pay the bubble but the big stacks were not interested, resulting in Chad P. (McGraw, NY) finishing as the bubble boy. With 10 players remaining, one unfortunate player would miss out on the final table. Jim Far. (Binghamton, NY) was just that player, picking up $175 for his 10th place finish. Dennis Da. (Albany, NY) posted his third cash in his third event at 607poker.com. Dennis took home $205 for his efforts and moved into the top 10 on the Season Points Leaderboard.
Bob Sil. (Binghamton, NY) was our 8th place finisher. Bod logged his first cash in his second event of the season, collecting $235 for his 8th place finish. John Mat. (Scranton, PA) continued a steady run of cashes, taking 7th place for $265. Short stack master Rooster D. (Windsor, NY) continued his hot start to the early season, posting his second cash in three events. Rooster walked away with $320 and sits in third place on the Season Points Leaderboard.
Tom Pet. (Greene, NY) made his first appearance this season and coasted to a 5th place finish, picking up $380. Event #1 winner, Jonny Mar. (Binghamton, NY) built a big stack early and looked poised to post a second victory in only three events. The final table didn’t go according to plan but Jonny managed a 4th place finish, grabbing $525 and maintaining second place on the Season Points Leaderboard.
The final three made a deal in which Chris Ho. (Albany, NY) took 3rd place and $1,150. Putting up a second final table finish in only his second event put Chris in 5th place on the Season Points Leaderboard. The Albany contingency of Chris & Dennis is wreaking havoc at the 607poker.com events. Graham Wol. (Owego, NY) took 2nd place and $1,150, moving into the top 10 on the Season Points Leaderboard in only his second event at 607poker.com.
This left Mikey Kro. (Binghamton, NY) as the first place finisher, walking away with $1,400 while extending his lead on top of the Season Points Leaderboard. In three events this season (his first three events with us) Mikey has finished 5th, 2nd & 1st. Can he continue this unbelievable run???? Stop down for Event #4 on October 4th at 4 PM and see if you are able to slow him down!!
