Mixing It Up
Our latest Tuesday Night tournament was a mix of No Limit Texas Hold Em and Pot Limit Omaha. 54 players came out to mix things up and there was no shortage of action. 55 rebuys later and we had a prize pool of $2400 to be distributed to the top 11 finishers.
Hand for hand play began with two tables of six players. Tasha Roy. (Binghamton, NY) fought the good fight but came up just short, finishing on the bubble. Luke Fri. (Binghamton, NY) was the first player headed for the payout desk with an 11th place finish worth $65. This was Luke’s third straight Tuesday night cash. Cal Mac. (Pleasantville, NY) followed Luke to the payout desk. His 10th place finish earned him $65 and left us with nine players that drew new seats as they consolidated to the final table.
Joe Nat. (Maine, NY) found a much deserved Tuesday Night cash, earning $85 for his 9th place finish. New player Ben Med. (Binghamton, NY) put up a cash in his first appearance at 607poker.com, picking up $100 for his 8th place finish. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) continued his Tuesday Night rungood, posting a 7th place finish for a $115 payout.
With 6 players remaining, Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) got his JT in against 44 and still had a few outs after the K94 flop but couldn’t find the gutterball and finished in 6th place for a $135 payday. Jackson Hoy. (Owego, NY) posted his second straight deep run on Tuesday nights, collecting $160 for his 5th place finish. Dan Kan. (Maine, NY) finished in 4th place, pocketing $215. This was Dan’s third consecutive Tuesday Night cash!
John Pol. (Binghamton, NY) came into three handed play as the chip leader but couldn’t fade a 3 outer in a critical spot. He couldn’t spin up the short stack he was left with and logged a 3rd place finish for $315. Heads up play didn’t last long as the second hand of play found the two remaining players all-in. Yao She. (Binghamton, NY) had top pair against the combo draw of Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY). Two bricks later and Yao had a commanding chip lead. He finished Jimmy off pretty quickly after that. Jimmy’s 2nd place finish earned him $480 while Yao was left with all of the chips and a $665 payout. Congrats Yao!!
