NO WAY JOSE!!!!!

This Tuesday Night headline writes itself as our $20 buy-in tournament drew 77 players. These players exercised incredible restraint, only firing 81 rebuys before taking a bunch of add-ons, resulting in a prize pool of $3,700 to be paid out to our top 16 finishers. With three tables and 17 players fighting it out to make the money, hand for hand play was underway. A player was eliminated on the second hand (unfortunately we missed who the bubble was) and we were in the money.

Eliminations were fast and furious once the bubble burst with Frank San. (Binghamton, NY) forced to move his short stack in as the big blind. Frank couldn’t improve, exiting in 16th place and collecting $70 and logging his fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Nick Bab. (Cortland, NY) found himself all in in a classic race situation with two overcards against a small pair but was unable to find one of the cards he needed, bowing out in 15th place with a $70 payout. This was Nick’s eighth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) found himself crippled when his AQs made a flush against his opponent’s full house. Pat was eliminated shortly after, finishing in 14th place and picking up $70 for his nineth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) made a triumphant return to the 607poker.com felt after a months long sabbatical, finishing in 13th place and taking home $70.

With a pay jump secured, Matt Kel. (Little Meadows, PA) found himself heading to the payout desk with a 12th place finish worth $90. This was Matt’s fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Alexis Yun (Binghamton University) recorded her first cash at a 607poker.com event with an 11th place finish worth $90. Ed Leo. (Binghamton, NY) just missed a final table appearance with a 10th place finish that netted him $90. This was Ed’s eighth Tuesday Night cash of the year.

After a redraw for final table seating, the final 9 players resumed play with Jack Sym. (Windsor, NY) unable to improve his AQ against his opponent’s small pair. Jack earned $110 for his 9th place finish, his tenth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Jack Mal. (Northford, CT) logged his second Tuesday Night cash of the year with an 8th place finish worth $130. Bob Crai. (Scranton, PA) found a final table appearance in only his second 607poker.com event, finishing in 7th place and collecting $150.

Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) continued to be a model of consistency with her 6th place finish for $170. This was Nancy’s 14th Tuesday Night cash of the year, moving her into the top 3. Zawadi Yeb. (Johnson City, NY) continued her recent hot streak with her third straight Tuesday Night cash (eleventh of the year). Zawadi ended a roller coaster of a night with a 5th place finish for $210. Max Spe. (Queens, NY) brought a big stack to the final table before bowing out in 4th place and taking home $310. This was the fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year for Max.

Carin Pal. (Johnson City, NY) recorded an impressive feat, posting back to back 3rd place finishes on consecutive Tuesday Nights. Carin earned $435 for her seventh Tuesday Night cash of the year. Heads up play began with fairly comparable stacks but Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) came out on the short end with a 2nd place finish for $635. This was Jimmy’s fifteenth Tuesday Night cash of the year, good for second overall. Jimmy’s exit left Jose Fer. (Brackney, PA) with all of the chips (he had the majority of the chips most of the night anyway) and his first outright victory at a 607poker.com event. Jose took home $1,000 for his third Tuesday Night cash of the year. Congrats to Jose for breaking through and taking down this event!!!!
