Same Season, New Winners

Event #6 of our Fall 2026 Season took place on Saturday with 31 players coming out and firing 9 rebuys. This resulted in a prize pool of $3,000 going to our top 5 finishers.

We got down to the final 6 and it was a case of the haves and the have nots as two players possessed over 80% of the chips in play. The four short stacks jockeyed for position but Frank San. (Binghamton, NY) had the misfortune to leave as the bubble boy. Dave May. (Rome, PA) was our first finisher in the money. Dave collected $210 for his 5th place finish. This was Dave’s second straight cash in a league event, keeping him in striking distance on the Season Points Leaderboard. Ed Leo. (Binghamton, NY) was our 4th place finisher, picking up $330 for his second straight cash in a league event.

Gus Van. (Binghamton, NY) found a quick double up at three handed play but the hill was too big to climb. Gus pocketed $540 for his 3rd place finish. This left Bootz Inm. (Binghamton, NY) and Joe Sch. (Waverly, NY) with comparable chip stacks. The duo quickly agreed on a chop with each player collecting $960.

The top of the Season Points Leaderboard remained relatively unchanged with nobody in the top 15 collecting any bonus points this week. Our leader looks to be in good shape but with two events remaining and at least 8 spots being paid, anyone can find their way into the money.

We have had 25 players qualify for our Fall 2026 Season Championship Event with 32 additional players still able to qualify. Our next season event is not until November 7th at 2 PM so rest up and come take your chances in November!!
