The Comeback Kid!

Take a cold Tuesday Night, mix in some freezing rain, 54 of the finest poker players around, short handed tables and a ton of gamble and you get an action packed poker tournament with lots of laughs. After 49 rebuys and over 35 add-ons, we ended up with a prize pool of $2,270 to be spread among our top 11 finishers.

On the bubble, 12 players fought to ensure they were not the last one heading home without a stop at the payout desk. Unfortunately for 607poker.com first timer Aidran Tor. (Middleton, NY), he couldn’t avoid the dreaded bubble boy designation, exiting without a payday. Play resumed with Jackson Hoy. (Owego, NY) making his return after a prolonged absence to capture 11th place and a $60 payout. Max Alp. (Binghamton, NY) showed out in his debut at 607poker.com, finishing in 10th place and collecting $70.

The master of Tuesday Night cashes, Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) registered her 5th cash in 9 Tuesday events this year, picking up $80 for her 9th place finish. Leon And. (Port Crane, NY) found his first cash at 607poker.com in only his 3rd event with us. Leon exited in 8th place, taking home $95 for his efforts.

The remaining players had a redraw for final table seating and play resumed. Rob McL (Binghamton, NY) logged yet another cash, hitting the rail in 7th place for a $110 payout. Dave O’N. (Port Crane, NY) broke a recent cold streak with a final table appearance. Dave’s 6th place finish earned him $125. Luke Fri. (Binghamton, NY) was on cruise control before his pocket kings were thwarted by his opponent’s AJ that turned into a full house. Luke finished in 5th place in only his second appearance at 607poker.com, pocketing $150.

Frank Gal. (Hampton Bays, NY) was the top finisher from our SUNY Cortland contingency. Frank built a big stack early and cruised to a 4th place finish, picking up $205. Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) continued a solid 2026 first quarter with another high finish. His 3rd place exit earned him $295.

Heads up play began with final table regular Dan Kan. (Maine, NY) holding a massive chip lead over Pudge (Binghamton, NY). Pudge found a three outer in an all-in situation that swung the momentum of heads up play and Dan was unable to turn the tide back in his favor. Dan earned $450 for his 2nd place finish, leaving Pudge with all of the chips and a $630 payday. This was Pudge’s second cash and first outright victory in only three tournaments at 607poker.com. Congrats on the comeback Pudge!!
