The Croatian Sensation!!!

This Tuesday Night Tournament was a mixture of four variations of poker. Every level of play, the game changed from Hold Em to Omaha to Lowball to Atomic Pineapple (a game nobody had ever played before). Who would sign up for this madness? 38 different people did and they liked it so much, they rebought 55 times. They wanted more and most of them added on more chips, resulting in a prize pool of $2,060 to be won by our top 10 finishers.

Play continued at a furious pace after the break and we were down to 10 players in record time. Shea Dm. (Scranton, PA) was the first player heading to the payout desk. For his first cash at 607poker.com, Shea picked up $65 for his 10th place finish. Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY) recorded his fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year with a 9th place finish worth $65.

After a redraw for final table seating, Horacio Vic. (Syracuse, NY) followed up his outright win on Saturday night with another cash. Horacio picked up $75 for his 8th place finish. Mike Bri. (Ithaca, NY) posted his second Tuesday Night cash in the last three events, earning $95 for a 7th place finish.

In a hold em level, Gus Van. (Binghamton, NY) ran his big stack into his opponent’s pocket kings, sending him to the rail in 6th place. Gus pocketed $115 for his seventh Tuesday Night cash of the year. During the next level of Omaha, Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) got his entire chip stack in drawing dead. Jimmy’s 5th place finish resulted in a $145 payout for his nineth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Dalia (Scranton, PA) was the next player heading to the payout desk. She took home $185 for her 4th place finish. This is her second Tuesday Night cash of the year, both 4th place finishes in mixed game events.

Three handed play began with all three finalists working fairly deep chip stacks. The three players traded chips until Jay Hea. (Binghamton, NY) bowed out in 3rd place, earning $290. This was Jay’s 7th Tuesday Night cash of the year and his 3rd consecutive cash in a 607poker.com event. Heads up play was a back and forth battle with the player’s exchanging the chip lead several times before Tim Ril. (Afton, NY) exited in 2nd place. Tim picked up $435 for his second place finish, his third Tuesday Night cash of the year. This left Dani Brk. (Croatia) with all of the chips and a $590 payout for his 1st place finish. This was Dani’s third straight Tuesday Night cash and his first outright win of the year!!
