Three For The Win!!

On Saturday Night we ran our second ever Revival Tournament, this time with some bounties added in. 49 people came out and even with the revival aspect, 16 of them (us) took a rebuy. This left us with a prize pool of $2,900 going to the top 8 finishers plus 130 bounties to be collected.

With 9 players remaining, we went to the final table looking for one of our finalists to exit without a payday. Mark Gra. (Vestal, NY) took the honors of the revival bubble boy, missing out on the money. Mark was able to collect 15 bounties along the way, making it a profitable night anyway. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) was the first player heading to the payout desk. Pat collecting $75 for his 8th place finish along with 3 bounties. Perennial final tablist Gus Van. (Binghamton, NY) bowed out in 7th place, collecting $115 for his finish along with 6 bounties.

Jonny Mar. (Binghamton, NY) found his way to the final table, collecting 6 bounties along the way. Jonny’s 6th place finish earned him $145. Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY) used a max late reg to launch him into a 5th place finish worth $205. Rob took out 5 players along the way, adding $50 in bounties to his payout. Ed Leo. (Binghamton, NY) posted his best finish in a 607poker.com event with a 4th place finish. Ed took home $290 along with 13 bounties for his impressive finish.

With three players remaining (and no revival chips left in play) stacks were pretty comparable and the three players agreed to take an even chop of the remaining prize pool. Mike Mor. made his first appearance in months, maximizing his return on investment with a $690 payout to go with the 8 bounties he collected. Horacio Vic. (Syracuse, NY) continued his recent hot streak, building a big stack early and cruising to the top three. Horacio collected $690 along with 9 bounty chips. Wayne Win. (Binghamton, NY) posted his best finish at 607poker.com with this chop. Wayne picked up $690 along with $60 in bounties.
