Tuesday Night Youth Movement!!

We were back with an all Texas Hold Em tournament this Tuesday with 60 runners taking a shot at a poker title. 70 rebuys and a bunch of add-ons later, we had a prize pool of $2,940 to be awarded to our top 14 finishers.

We got down to our final 15 players and hand for hand play started. Josh Spe. had started slow but turned it around and put together an impressive chip stack. Unfortunately, he couldn’t get past the bubble position, exiting in 15th place. Josaiah Fr. (Binghamton, NY) was our first elimination when regular play resumed. Josaiah collected $60 for his 14th place finish. Cash game specialist Jay Hea. (Binghamton, NY) followed Josaiah to the payout desk, collecting $60 for his 13th place finish. Colin Mor. (Lafayette, NY) found his way into the money with a 12th place finish, picking up $75. Pat Rei. (Deposit, NY) continued his Tuesday Night run good with an 11th place finish for $75. Tournament regular Dave O’N. (Port Crane, NY) logged a 10th place finish, taking home $75 for his third Tuesday Night cash of the year.

After a redraw for the final table, action continued at a furious pace with a double elimination. As the shorter stack, Laura Dir. (Johnson City, NY) claimed a 9th place finish for a $90 payout. Daric Dio. (Endicott, NY) took an 8th place finish for $105 since he started the hand with more chips than Laura. Kyle Roo. (Harpursville, NY) made the most after a long absence from 607poker.com, finishing in 7th place and pocketing $120.

Devin Mel. (Johnson City, NY) claimed his first cash at 607poker.com after being eliminated in 6th place for a $150 payout. Matt Mai. (Vestal, NY) logged his first Tuesday Night finish in the money. Matt picked up $190 for his 5th place finish. AJ Jul. (Port Crane, NY) logged his 5th Tuesday Night cash of the year with a 4th place finish worth $250.

With three players remaining and stacks fairly deep, the remainder of the tournament was a marathon. Mike Att. (Lake Ariel, PA) found a key double up with JJ but couldn’t keep the momentum going, getting knocked out in 3rd place. Mike’s impressive finish in only his second tournament at 607poker.com earned him $370. With two Binghamton University students left to battle for the title, there was no shortage of action. First time player Jin Noh (Binghamton, NY) came up a little short of his goal, posting a 2nd place finish for a $545 payout. This left Lucas Har. (Owego, NY) as the outright winner. Lucas collected $775 for his 1st place finish. This was Lucas’ fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year, improving on his previously best 2nd place finish. Congrats Lucas!!!
