As the day wore on Saturday, we launched a second tournament. This was a Mini Mystery Bounty with a $40 buy-in and $20 add-on. Fifty players came out ready to gamble, resulting in a bunch of rebuys giving us 88 total entries and a slew of add-ons. After the rebuys were over, the bounties kicked in so action didn’t slow. We had bounties ranging from $20 to $200 and they were in high demand. The top 11 finishers would be in the money.

607poker.com staple Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) was our 11th place finisher, making his way to the payout desk and picking up $100 for his efforts. Brandon Nel. (Cortland, NY) posted his second cash of the last few weeks with a 10th place finish for $120. After a redraw for the final table, Anton Kal. (Westchester, NY) got it in good with A8 against KJ but couldn’t fade a king and was left with a 9th place finish for $140.

In a three way all-in, newcomer Robert Rum. (Troy, NY) got it in good with pocket tens against pocket fives and AQ. The ace on the turn for the biggest stack knocked Robert out in 8th place. Robert collected two bounties for $20 each to go with his $160 payout. Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) was the other casualty on this hand, taking home $180 for his 7th place finish as well as three bounties of $20 each. Mark Gra. (Vestal, NY) exited in 6th place, earning $220 to go with four bounties totaling $110.

Jacob Sch. (Binghamton, NY) worked a short stack for most of the final table but ended up with a 5th place finish for $260 as well as $40 for two bounties collected. Adam Pok. (Binghamton, NY) was done in 4th place, picking up a $460 payout. Adam was also the biggest bounty collector, drawing 7 envelopes and cashing out for $380 in bounties. Continuing his recent hot streak, Colin Mor. (Cortland, NY) came into the final table as the chip leader but found a cold deck there, resulting in a 3rd place finish for $520. Colin also collected $160 for his 4 bounties.

With two players left and $1,900 to be paid out, a deal was struck. Matt Geo. (Cortland, NY) took $900 for the chop and collected 4 bounties for an additional $110. Derrick Ser. (Vestal, NY) received $1,000 for the chop on top of 6 bounties totaling $180.

One day, two tournaments, 21 people in the money and a good time had by all. Our next big event will be another double header on Saturday December 27th. We have a $160 buy-in Mystery Bounty tournament with a $40 add-on at 1 PM and a $55 buy-in Survivor tournament at 5 PM. Come down and grab a part of one of these prize pools!
