Back in the Saddle

Two weeks off. A relocation. None of this slowed down the 607poker.com crew. We fired things up on Wednesday night with our $20 + $20 tournament, this time at a new and improved location. 64 of our best poker players came out and fired 66 bullets in search of poker glory. Mix in a bunch of add-ons and we had $3,170 to be paid out to our top 14 finishers.

It may have been a new location, but the results had that old Conklin charm. There was no shortage of bad beats and coolers to send player after player to the rail until we were down to our final two table. With 16 players left we had simultaneous knockouts on each of the remaining tables. Laura Dir. (Johnson City, NY) and Joshua Fre. (Binghamton, NY) shared the first bubble at 2 Rivers Social Club. Calum Mac. (Pleasantville, NY) was the first casualty once we were in the money, exiting in 14th place and collecting $65. This was Cal’s 7th Tuesday Night cash of the year. Following Josh to the payout desk was Matt Kel. (Little Meadows, PA). Matt picked up $65 for his 13th place finish. Somehow this is Matt’s first Tuesday Night cash of the year.

Dalia (Lake Ariel, PA) grabbed a pay jump with a 12th place finish worth $80. This was Dalia’s third Tuesday Night cash of the year and first in a non-mixed game tournament. Crowd favorite Jonny Mar. (Binghamton, NY) worked his way to an 11th place finish for $80. This was Jonny’s 6th Tuesday Night cash of the year. As players battled to make the final table, Nick Bab. (Cortland, NY) was eliminated in 10th place. Nick picked up $80 for his 4th Tuesday Night cash of the year.

After a redraw for final table seating, the remaining players set aside ICM considerations and kept chips moving. Joy Ver. (Ithaca, NY) was our first final table casualty, picking up $95 for her 9th place finish. This was Joy’s 1st Tuesday Night cash of the year. Barry Bar. (Groton, NY) bowed out shortly after, collecting $115 for his 8th place finish. This was also Barry’s 1st Tuesday Night cash of the year. Nataniel (Hudson Valley, NY) put up an impressive debut performance at 607poker.com, finishing in 7th place and taking home $135.

Corey Sta. (Ithaca, NY) accumulated a big stack early and cruised to a 6th place finish, earning him $160 for his first Tuesday Night cash of the year. Jack Gom. (Scranton, PA) worked his way to a 5th place finish worth $205. This was Jack’s 3rd Tuesday Night cash of the year. Dave O’Ne. (Conklin, NY) posted his best Tuesday Night finish of the year, finishing in 4th place and taking home $270. This was Dave’s 5th Tuesday Night cash of the year.

Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) battled for a 3rd place finish that earned her $400. This was Nancy’s best Tuesday Night finish of the year in her (quite impressive) 9th Tuesday Night cash of the year. This left us with two players remaining, battling for the first title in our new location. Mike Mor. (Cortland, NY) went in to heads up play with a chip deficit that he wasn’t able to overcome, taking down a 2nd place finish worth $585. This was Mike’s 2nd Tuesday Night cash of the year (both cashes in the last three Tuesday night events). This left Colin Mor. (Syracuse, NY) with all of the chips and $835 for his first outright victory on a Tuesday Night. This was Colin’s 8th Tuesday Night cash of the year and his second top two finish in the last two months.
