A New Contender Emerges - 607 Poker League

Event #4 of the Fall 2026 League kicked off Saturday afternoon with 48 players taking their shot. 19 rebuys later, we had a prize pool of $3,685 being paid to our top 9 finishers. Those that didn’t make the final table walk away with nothing but the hope for a better run next Saturday.

Sharon Van. (Binghamton, NY) was our first finisher in the money. Sharon picked up $95 for her 9th place finish, her first cash of the season. Former league champion Nick Bab. (Cortland, NY) was looking for another win this season, cruising to the final table with a big stack but fell short of his goal, exiting in 8th place and taking home $130. Nick’s second cash of the season puts him in 4th place on the Season Points Leaderboard. Matt She. (Unadilla, NY) also built a big stack early, paving a path to the final table. Matt finished in 7th place for a $165 payday. This was his first cash of the Fall 2026 Season.

Scott Tho. (Conklin, NY) has become a final table fixture in league events. His 6th place finish worth $200 was his fourth cash in four Fall 2026 League Events. His remarkable consistency has him sitting in second place on the Season Points Leaderboard at the halfway mark of the season. Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY) posted his second consecutive league cash with a 5th place finish earning him $260. This finish moves Rob into third place on the Season Points Leaderboard. In his first event of the Fall 2026 League, Pudge (Binghamton, NY) proved he can win on days other than Tuesdays. Pudge finished in 4th place, collecting $350 for his finish.

Matt Kel. (Little Meadows, PA) found his first cash of the Fall 2026 Season with a 3rd place finish for $535. The top 3 finish puts Matt in contention on the Season Points Leaderboard. Heads up play began with Jeff Smi. (Marathon, NY) facing an incredible chip deficit against Jacob Stu. (Liverpool, NY). Jeff found a double up on the first hand that positioned him for a long heads up battle. Each player seemed to make a hand every time they needed it most until Jacob finally got pocket jacks to hold up and secure the win. This was Jeff’s third 2nd place finish in four league events, collecting $950. This consistency has landed Jeff at the top of the Season Points Leaderboard and has him positioned to be the first repeat League Champion. Jacob’s persistence resulted in his first outright victory at 607poker.com, bringing a $1,000 payday with it. The win also moves Jacob into the top 10 on the Season Points Leaderboard. Congrats Jacob!!
