Pulling Away

Event #5 in our Fall 2026 Season brought out 38 players. Those players fired 12 rebuys, giving us a total prize pool of $2,750 to be paid out to our top 7 finishers. Eddie Gun. (Binghamton, NY) was poised for a double up when his AK got all-in against AJ preflop but the J on the river made him this event’s bubble boy. Ed Leo. (Binghamton, NY) brought a short stack to the final table but worked it for a cash, exiting in 7th place and collecting $110. This was Ed’s first cash of the season.

Adam Bus. (Cortland, NY) made his Fall 2026 League debut with a 6th place finish worth $140. Dave May. (Rome, PA) battled through the first half of the final table, exiting in 5th place for a $190 payout in his first cash of the season. Jimmy Far. (Binghamton, NY) also found his first cash of the season, picking up $275 for his 4th place finish.

Three handed play started with all players sporting a healthy stack. Bob Sil. (Binghamton, NY) was the first to fall, exiting in 3rd place and taking home $425. This was Bob’s second deep run of the season, moving him into 5th place on the Season Points Leaderboard. Heads up play went back and forth before Wayne Win. (Johnson City, NY) couldn’t get his top pair to hold up against a flush draw, being eliminated in 2nd place. Wayne picked up $685 for the 2nd place finish, his second cash of the Fall 2026 Season, moving into the top 10 on the Season Points Leaderboard. This left Jeff Smi. (Marathon, NY) with all of the chips and his first win of the Fall 2026 Season after three runner-up finishes. Jeff collected $925 and widened his lead atop the Season Points Leaderboard.

With three games remaining, players will have to bring their A game if they want to catch Jeff!!
