Guess Who’s Back

We ran it back on Thursday with our $30 buy-in No Limit Texas Hold Em tournament. 33 players showed up and shot their shot. 34 rebuys and a slew of add-ons later and we had $2,270 set to be paid out to our top 7 finishers.

The final table started and when we got to 8 players, everyone was fighting to avoid being the bubble. Dave May. (Rome, PA) had the misfortune to be the 8th place finisher and holder of the bubble boy title. Brady Bla. (Broome Community College) was the first player heading to the payout desk with a 7th place finish worth $90.

Jerry Joh. (Scranton, PA) worked her way to a 6th place finish, earning $110. Paul Ste. (Binghamton, NY) made his return to the 607poker.com felt after a looooong break but was in mid-season form, finishing in 5th place and collecting $155. Paycheck (Binghamton, NY) proved his sabbatical was worth it with his second consecutive cash since his return. Paycheck took home $230 for his 4th place finish.

Wayne Win. (Johnson City, NY) made a case for the Mr. Thursday Night title with his second straight top three finish in back to back Thursday Night tournaments. Wayne pocketed $350 for his 3rd place finish. Max Spe. (Queens, NY), barely a month removed from a long speech about quitting tournament poker, found himself with his second straight top 4 finish at 607poker.com. Max just missed his second outright win, exiting in 2nd place for a $560 payout. This left Jonny Mar. (Oxford, NY) with all of the chips and the biggest pile of cash. This was Jonny’s second final table of the week and his 4th outright victory in 607poker.com events. Jonny took home $775 for his 1st place finish. Congrats Jonny!!!
