What could be better on a Tuesday than playing poker with over 70 of your closest friends?? That’s right, nothing. 73 players came out, put down $20 and started raising, bluffing and folding their way to a tournament win. 79 rebuys later we ended up with $3,700 to be paid out to the top 16 finishers. That’s right, all you had to do was make the final two tables to get a return on your investment.

With three tables and 17 players remaining, hand for hand play started. Hand for hand play ended quickly with two eliminations on separate tables. These two players avoided the bubble boy designation while splitting the 16th place payout. Mick Mar. (Greene, NY) and Cal Mac. (Pleasantville, NY) took home $35 each. This was Mick’s third Tuesday Night cash (all at the new building) and Cal’s nineth Tuesday Night cash.

The next three finishers collected $70 each for their finish. Colin Mor. (Syracuse, NY) bowed out in 15th place with his 11th Tuesday Night cash of the year. Bob Sil. (Binghamton, NY) exited in 14th place for his second Tuesday Night cash of the year. Tiler Rob. (Sayre, PA) posted his first Tuesday Night cash with a 13th place finish.

The remaining players had a pay jump with the next three finishers picking up $90 each. Carin Pal. (Johnson City, NY) finished in 11th place, logging her 5th Tuesday Night cash of the year. Wayne Win. (Johnson City, NY) continued a hot streak with his third cash in his last three tournaments. Wayne’s 11th place finish was his second Tuesday Night cash of the year. Jack Gom. (Scranton, PA) had a 10th place finish that was his second consecutive Tuesday Night cash and 6th of the year.

The remaining nine players had a redraw for final table seating and play resumed. Matt Kel. (Little Meadows, PA) was the first player bounced from the final table, exiting in 9th place and taking home $110 for his second Tuesday Night cash of the year. Jane Mil. (Deposit, NY) is heating up, finishing in 8th place and collecting $130. This marks two cashes this week for Jane and is her first Tuesday Night cash this year. Zawadi Yeb. (Johnson City, NY) experienced some big swings on her way to a 7th place finish worth $150. This was Zawadi’s seventh Tuesday Night cash of the year.

Shea (Scranton, PA) battled back from a chip stack of half of a small blind to put up a 6th place finish worth $170. This is Shea’s third Tuesday Night cash of the year. Dolly Ril. (Binghamton, NY) built a big stack early and coasted to a 5th place finish, earning $220 for her efforts. This was Dolly’s fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year. Red hot Kevin Dum. (Windsor, NY) worked his way to a 4th place finish. Kevin collected $305 for his 11th Tuesday Night cash of the year, including cashes in three of the last four Tuesdays.

With three players remaining, we had a newcomer looking for his first Tuesday Night win, a seasoned veteran searching for his second Tuesday Night win and Mr. Tuesday Night on a mission to secure a record breaking fourth Tuesday Night title. None of these players showed a reluctance to get their chips in the middle, but Mr. Tuesday Night was our first casualty, exiting in 3rd place. Pudge pocketed $430 for his finish, marking his 8th Tuesday Night cash of the year and moving him into 3rd on the Tuesday Night money list. Jacob Stu. (Liverpool, NY) brought a significant chip lead into heads up play against Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY). Rob scratched and clawed, exchanging pots with Jacob and taking over the chip lead before getting all of his chips in the middle with KQ on a K high board. Jacob came up just short when he was outkicked with his K7. Jacob took home $635 for his first Tuesday Night cash. This left Rob with all of the chips and his second Tuesday Night victory of the year. Rob collected $1,000 for his win and moved into second place overall with his 12th Tuesday Night cash of the year. This was also Rob’s 6th Tuesday Night cash in the last seven Tuesday’s.
