Tuesday Night Turmoil

With our Tuesday Night Tournament returning to all No Limit Texas Hold Em, we had 60 players come out and take their shot at winning one of our events. The economy took it’s toll on this event, resulting in fewer rebuys (54) than players for the first time this year. After the add-ons were done and the dust settled, our 114 entries gave us a prize pool of $2,720 to be paid out to our top 12 finishers.

With thirteen players remaining at our final two tables, we were in search of a new bubble boy and we found one when Gus Van. (Binghamton, NY) ran his KQ into AJ. After taking the lead on a QT9 flop, Barry Greenstein summoned an A on the river, sending Gus to the rail. Cal Mac. (Pleasantville, NY) made a rare summer appearance and turned it into a 12th place finish worth $55. This was Cal’s 5th Tuesday Night cash in the last 7 events. Joe Nat. (Maine, NY) found a way to crack KK with his signature T6 hand on the bubble, allowing him to hold on to an 11th place finish worth $70. Scott Fer. (Port Crane, NY) ended a long absence from 607poker.com with a 10th place finish worth $85. This was Scott’s first Tuesday Night cash of the year, which makes sense since it was his first Tuesday Night appearance of the year.

The remaining 9 players had a redraw for final table seating before chips started flying again. Nancy Ree. (Binghamton, NY) was our first elimination at the final table. Her 9th place finish earned her $100. This was Nancy’s 8th Tuesday Night cash of the year, only one behind our leaders. Josh Fre. (Binghamton, NY) turned in an 8th place finish in only his second ever event at 607poker.com. Josh took home $115 for his efforts. Dani Brk. (Croatia) put forth a hurculean effort in his bid to become our first back-to-back winner but came up a little short. His 7th place finish earned him $130 in his fourth consecutive Tuesday Night cash.

Devin Mel. (Johnson City, NY) posted his second Tuesday Night cash with a 6th place finish worth $150. Devin’s previous cash was also $150 for 6th place. You have to admire the consistency. Jack Sym. (Windsor, NY) bowed out in 5th place, pocketing $175. This was Jack’s 4th Tuesday Night cash of the year and third since May began. Lewis Mor. (Binghamton, NY) posted his second Tuesday Night cash of the year. In his best finish yet, Lewis took home $230 for his 4th place finish.

Jimmy Bak. (Binghamton, NY) put up a 3rd place finish in only his third tournament at 607poker.com. Jimmy earned $355 for his efforts. The two remaining players had comparable chip stacks and early morning alarms set so they agreed to chop the remaining prize pool evenly. Colin Mor. (Syracuse, NY) and Roberto Vaz. (Scranton, PA) each pocketed $627 for their share of the chop. For both players, this is their second top finish at 607poker.com. This was Roberto’s fourth Tuesday Night cash of the year and Colin’s fifth.

If you weren’t one of the top 12 finishers to take home some extra cash this week, come out next Tuesday and take your shot at winning some money and having your picture posted next to these two handsome devils!!
