Thursday Night Done Right!!

So you wanted more poker? We gave it to you with a Thursday Night Tournament. 37 players put down their $30 to take a shot at some poker glory and a pocketful of cash. 25 rebuys and a bunch of add-ons later and we had a prize pool of $2,400 to be awarded to our top 8 finishers.

We moved to a final table with relative ease but with one player looking at going home empty handed, everyone left hunkered down, trying to avoid being the bubble. After a level of play without an elimination, the nine remaining players agreed to pay the bubble. Dolly Ril (Binghamton, NY) was the happiest person with this decision, collecting $40 for her 9th place finish. Kevin Pea. (Binghamton, NY) followed Dolly to the payout desk, picking up $65 for his 8th place finish.

Anton Kal. (Westchester, NY) came into the final table with a big stack but bowed out in 7th place, claiming $90 for his efforts. Adam Mag. (PA) posted his first cash at 607poker.com with a 6th place finish that earned him $115. Josaiah Fra. (Binghamton, NY) exited on Tuesday with a bad beat near the money bubble but improved on that on Thursday with a 5th place finish worth $160.

John Gri. (Binghamton, NY) returned after a long absence, bobbing and weaving his way to a 4th place finish worth $245. Rob McL. (Binghamton, NY) put up his second final table appearance in a three day window. Rob took home $365 for his 3rd place finish. This left Matt Mai. (Endwell, NY) and Jim All. (Windsor, NY) battling for the outright victory. The two former 607poker.com champions traded chips before Matt exited in 2nd place. While disappointed with missing the victory, Matt collected $545 for his 2nd place finish. When the dust settled, Jim remained with all of the chips and a $775 payday for his third outright victory at 607poker.com. Excellent work Jim!!!
